We love Italian cakes!! There are too many varieties we don't know where to start. WHAT ARE THE CLASSIC ITALIAN CAKES?

Pecan pie and hazelnut pies are classic many Italian homes serves them as classic Italian desserts.

Debora & Marta Pasticceria is located on your way to Chivasso from Turin. The exact address is in at Via Torino 143, 10090 Castiglione Torinese, Piedmont Italy. We are featuring them on our site because we love their Italian cakes. When you step into Debora & Marta you instantly feel this is not a typical commercial business. Everyone call everyone by their first name. Customers become friends as both Debora & Marta are extremely warm people. Debora do all of the baking at the lab behind of the shop while Marta manage the front desk putting together beautifully wrapped sweet delights and making every customer feels at home in their delightful shops. In the summer you can sit outside in the garden.

Every season you will find different creations in their pasticceria. Easter is probably the best time to go calling where you find the entire shop filled with chocolate creations. Debora & Marta also do catering for special events both on their premise or off premise. On premise will surely be an outdoor event in their big garden.

Debora & Marta has created some amazing work of baking which you can see further down this page. If you are interested to learn how to bake Italian cakes they do in-take of students occasionally. If you are lucky to catch them at a time when business is a little slow, they will bring you into their program. You will learn how to bake, manage and run a pasticerria shop.

What is most yummy .....emmm.....difficult question. There's something for everyone. If you love chocolates we will say this is the place. Piedmont Italy has a special chocolate delicacy call Ginduja. At Debora & Marta Ginduja is a popular demand. This could be attributed to them having working experience with Peyrano one of Turin oldest name in chocolate delights. Peyrano goes back to 19th. Century founded by Antonio Peyrano.

The business has been solely managed by the family until 2002 when Mario Maione bought over the business and expanded it.
