HOW TO LEARN A NEW LANGUAGE?

Online language lessons

For everyone the learning curve is different. Essentially this basic principle applies no matter what language you are learning:

1. Build your vocabulary library. Generally speaking if you know about 4000 words you should be able to speak a language quite fluently.

2. Grammar the elements that will help manipulate your vocabulary. Grammar is the foundation that help you string your sentences together.

3. Writing is the part you will combine both grammar and vocabulary putting your new knowledge into practice.

4. Listening and speaking from this you will know proper accent of words, learn how to form sentences in proper way. Listening everyday will also improve your vocabulary. When you speak your new language everyday you will get better at it each day.

5. Memory - find a way to memorize new words. Pace yourself to learn new words everyday 30 a day perhaps. Test yourself on words you learn yesterday everyday for 15 minutes.

6. Self-motivation this is probably the single most important drive that will keep you going on your quest to learn a new language. Language is not an exciting subject for many of us. You may lose interest within the first stage of learning and never go beyond the basics.
